Jose’s Inter Win Derby D’Italia
A late goal from Sulley Muntari in the 73rd minute gave Inter Milan the 1-0 win over Juve. The battle between rivals Jose Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri began with the surprise inclusion of Adriano in the Inter starting XI, along with Dejan Stankovic, who was picked over Patrick Vieira. On the Juve side, Marco Marchionni retained his starting spot over the newly fit Mauro Camoranesi.
By taking all three points, Inter retains the top spot in Serie A, now four points clear of city rivals AC Milan (who do have a match in hand). And perhaps even more pleasing than that for Mourinho is the fact that he was once again able to stick it to one of his detractors. See the face of smug satisfaction he’s making in the picture above?
