Roma Ultras Terrorize Lecce (……with Petty Thieving)

Those blood-thirsty Roma fans were at it again this past weekend, this time taking their pillaging ways on the road for a match against Lecce.

No, thy didn’t attack their own team’s bus again, or throw any burning Vespas around. This time, they did something far, far worse (if you’re a shop owner). Goal.com has the details:

A number of Roma fans who travelled to Lecce to see there side win 3-0 were arrested by Police for looting after they stole a number of items from a service station on their way to the game.

The youngsters who are all between 21 and 27 years old were captured by the authorities after they were caught on camera at the Canne Della Battaglia petrol staion near Bari. [...]

Police are investigating the crime. Reports suggest the looters stole items amounting to the value of just €20 which begs the question as to whether their trouble was worth the hassle. They now face the consequences of the Italian justice system who will decide.

I know this may not sound like a big deal, but what if I told you that in addition to the petty theft, they also ran over four elderly women with a lawn mower and beat a group of school children to death with a sock full of coins?

Sure, none of that is true, but what if I told you that anyway?

Just think about that for a while…
