Manchester City Supporters are Only Slightly Funnier than their Club
Their club is still in the bottom half of the table, on the verge of sacking their manager, and spending £10-12 million on Wayne Bridge, but that’s not stopping Manchester City fans from having a little fun at the expense of their cross town, third place, Club World Cup winning rivals. From The Mirror:
Ryan Giggs was approached in a hotel with the words “any chance of a picture, Giggsy?” When the winger agreed he was handed a camera and asked to take a photo of the Blues supporter.
And John O’Shea - who has laughed off untrue rumours about his sexuality - was told he had a piece of gum on his trainers. When the defender lifted a foot up to look back, his tormentor shouted “ooh, hello sailor”, leaving O’Shea’s pal in hysterics.
Uh-oh! Looks like the fans of a certain overspending/underachieving club got the 101 Hilarious Practical Jokes (for Kids!) book this Christmas. Look out, Wayne Rooney. If someone calls you up and asks if your refrigerator is running, it’s not the repairman checking up on you!
Sarcasm aside, here’s a suggestion to Man City fans: Next time you see a Man U player on the streets, instead of pulling these amateurish pranks, just fall down in front of them and start screaming “Rape!” as loud as you can. Not only will you get a good laugh out of it, but you might even get a payoff too!
