Sao Paulo players walk out with dogs as mascots

Sao Paulo hosted Palmeiras on Sunday and instead of using human children as mascots, they used dogs. Each player walked out onto the pitch with a dog on a leash at his side in an effort to promote the adoption of stays.

Brilliant.

Once the dogs were cleared out, the match went on to end in a 1-1 draw because Robinho (not that one) made legendary Sao Paulo keeper Rogerio Ceni pay for a bad mistake in the third minute of injury time.
