A Hong Kong toy manufacturer has made a Nazi soldier action figure that looks remarkably like Bastian Schweinsteiger. And to fully eliminate any doubt as to the inspiration for the doll, they even named it “Bastian.”
According to TZ, WWII Germany Army Supply Duty Bastian sells for about €108 and has multiple outfits and accessories. But a spokesman for the toy company claims that the figure wasn’t based on the World Cup winning Man United player and is instead just a “typical German.” He added: “We believe all Germans look alike.”
This is either some kind of misguided joke or this company is trolling really hard. Either way, the Guardian reports that Schweinsteiger’s representatives are threatening legal action against the company.
