Zlatan after final PSG match: “I came, I saw, I conquered”

Just as he did in his final match at the Parc des Princes, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice in the Coupe de France final to help PSG complete the domestic quadruple with a 4-2 win over Marseille.

Once the medals were awarded and the trophy was lifted, Zlatan was interviewed by French television, giving him an opportunity to say a few last words before embarking on his next adventure. With his last question, the reporter asked Zlatan to say something in French, since he so rarely spoke the language over his four years in the country. Zlatan’s response?

“I didn’t speak French and still I won everything. I came, I saw, I conquered. Thank you.”

Cold. Blooded.

Zlatan has now won exactly 30 trophies in his career (if you count Juventus’ two Serie A titles that were later revoked due to the Calciopoli scandal) and has a commendation from the city of Paris to go along with him.

2015/16 Hard work pays off, and still one to go!
