Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are the greatest match commentators of all time

Arsenal’s YouTube channel does this thing where they have two members of the squad commentate match highlights and by pairing Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal together, they have struck gold.

Some choice cuts…

-Bellerin introducing Monreal as “Peter Crouch’s younger brother”

-Both of them sounding like Sacha Baron Cohen characters

-Bellerin saying “I thought he only used his left [foot] to get on the bus” and tacking on an “Unbelievable, Geoff!”

-Bellerin exclusively addressing Monreal as “Crouchie”

-Bellerin on an Olivier Giroud goal: “After all the time he spent doing his hair, I think he deserved it, didn’t he?”

I never want to watch a match without these two commentating again.

hector bellerin’s english is so london, it almost hurts. i love it when foreign footballers pick up the local accent of the place they’re playing. (the other example i can think of is daniel agger’s scouser-by-way-of-copenhagen accent.)
