What better way to make fun of elaborate videos than with an elaborate video?

The hot new trend of football clubs’ social media teams getting super high and then making a video to announce new signings reached a baffling new level with Chelsea’s video for Antonio Rüdiger. So instead of trying to top it, Southampton decided to make fun of the practice.

That’s just wonderful, isn’t it? But it is a bit rich coming from a club that unveiled their new kit with a two-part animated film.
