YouTubers sneak into Chelsea’s hotel, sign John Terry and Nemanja Matic to their “team”

Chelsea are in Montreal for their North American tour, so a group of local guys decided to seize the opportunity to try and lure a couple of players away from the Premier League champions for their own team.

First, they snuck into the club’s hotel to try and convince Jose Mourinho to be their coach. Mourinho wasn’t in the mood to hear their offer, though, and they were promptly kicked out.

They then regrouped and did a bit more planning. One of the guys posed as “Oriol Gomeo’s agent” while one of his cohorts was able to approach John Terry and get him to sign their contract (a piece of scrap paper with the word “contract” written on it). They were also successful with Nemanja Matic just before getting shoved out the door.

This, presumably, is how Ed Woodward signed Bastian Schweinsteiger for Manchester United.

Chelsea players pull off lunch table trick, celebrate like they’ve won the league

A video posted by didierdrogba (@didierdrogba) on

Jose Mourinho and John Terry were quick to give their responses to critics labeling Chelsea as boring and now Didier Drogba has made his case with an Instagram video.

Captioned “Boring boring chelseaaa!!!!!” the video has seven Chelsea players (Loic Remy, Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Eden Hazard, Drogba, Thibaut Courtois, and John Obi Mikel sitting across from each other at the lunch table. They head the ball across the table and down the line until Mikel finishes off the routine (a daring choice) with a fall away header into a strategically placed bin beside the table. They then celebrate like they just sealed the Premier League title.

This is what you do when you’re 10-points clear at the end of April.

Raheem Sterling and John Terry invent new game during Liverpool-Chelsea match

Chelsea’s defenders couldn’t agree on how to contain Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling in the firs leg of their Capital One Cup semifinal, so they decided to try out a few different things. For example, John Terry went with a fun new game called “surprise wrestling” in which he and Sterling formed some kind of malformed human centipede.
