Footballer sent off for mooning racist fans after after scoring goal

Ivorian striker Dally, who plays for Freamunde in the Portuguese second division, celebrated his 83rd minute goal against Chaves by mooning the opposing fans. This earned him a red card.

The player has since apologized for exposing himself and told the Record that he only did it because some of the Chaves fans were racially abusing him throughout the second half of the match. Jose Mourinho laughs about Mario Balotelli’s reason for once missing a meeting with him

Jose Mourinho and Mario Balotelli had their run-ins during their time at Inter and though their relationship suffered for it at the time, it seems that Mourinho can laugh about it now that they’ve gone their separate ways.

Well played, Mario. Well played.

Jeremy Menez scores disallowed goal so good that the offside rule should’ve been abolished on the spot

Roma and Milan played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday and yet the match still included a wonderful goal. Jeremy Menez was ruled offside as he chased down a ball that appeared to be heading over the endline during the first half, but he decided to contort his body to get off a shot from the ridiculous angle anyway. And he only went and pulled it off.

It’s times like this when officials should just say, “You know what — that was awesome. The goal stands.”
