Spurs all but wrapped up the Premier League title for Leicester by only managing a 1-1 draw with West Brom at home on Monday night. The pressure was on with first-place Leicester beating Swansea 4-0 the day before and Spurs fan Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton in attendance at White Hart Lane for the important match. But the former Spice Girl’s presence was too much for this young Spurs team to handle as they conceded a 73rd minute equalizer to Craig Dawson, who scored an own goal in the 33rd minute to give Spurs the lead.

West Brom player hit in the face with coin thrown by own fans

Championship side Reading came from behind to beat West Brom 3-1 in the FA Cup quarterfinals, angering the Baggies fans who made the trip. After the match, West Brom vice-captain Chris Brunt tried to make amends for the loss by moving to give his shirt to someone in the crowd, but as he took it off, he was struck by a coin thrown from the away end.

Pedro scored and assisted Diego Costa’s first goal of the season within the first half hour of Chelsea’s 3-2 win at West Brom. All the madness of Aston Villa’s FA Cup quarterfinal pitch invasion

It’s been a while since Aston Villa had something to really celebrate. So, fully in the grips of Tim Sherwood Madness, Villa fans invaded the pitch after beating rivals West Brom for the second time in a week to book a trip to Wembley for the FA Cup semifinals.

Villa won 2-0 and as soon as the final whistle sounded, the home crowd stormed the pitch, releasing the tension of the season’s relegation fight in the process.

Tim Sherwood celebrates first Aston Villa win like he won the league title

Aston Villa snapped their seven-match losing streak in dramatic fashion, beating West Brom 2-1 with a Christian Benteke penalty in the final seconds of the game. This also gave Tim Sherwood his first win as Villa manager and he celebrated as if he just won a trophy — even going so far as to make a show of checking his pulse to affirm that Villa are still alive as they now sit three points above those in the relegation zone (with 1-2 more games played).
