Cologne’s Anthony Ujah celebrates goal by assaulting a live goat

Anthony Ujah scored Cologne’s fourth goal in a 4-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt and he decided to celebrate with Cologne’s live goat mascot, Hennes. But instead of doing something nice like petting the goat or giving it a high five, Ujah went right for the horns and tried to pull Hennes back onto its hind legs.

With the divine intervention of Jeb Brovsky’s midsection, Orlando City captain Kaka was credited with his first MLS goal in added time to give his side a 1-1 draw with fellow newcomers New York City FC. All the madness of Aston Villa’s FA Cup quarterfinal pitch invasion

It’s been a while since Aston Villa had something to really celebrate. So, fully in the grips of Tim Sherwood Madness, Villa fans invaded the pitch after beating rivals West Brom for the second time in a week to book a trip to Wembley for the FA Cup semifinals.

Villa won 2-0 and as soon as the final whistle sounded, the home crowd stormed the pitch, releasing the tension of the season’s relegation fight in the process.

Marseille goalkeeper catches bottle thrown at him, offers reporter interviewing him a drink

While being interviewed after winning 6-1 at Toulouse, Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda proved that he is without a doubt the smoothest dude alive. As he answered a question, both Mandanda and the reporter noticed a projectile coming their way — presumably thrown by an angry Toulouse supporter. And Mandanda demonstrated why he was a part of France’s 2014 World Cup squad by coolly catching the bottle with one hand and, without missing a beat, offering the reporter a drink.

They should stop filming the next James Bond film and make one about Steve Mandanda instead.

DTotD: River Plate goalkeeper knocks out teammate with knee to the face

The Copa Libertadores is serious business and River Plate goalkeeper Julio Cesar Chiarini proved that during his side’s match against Tigres by putting his desire to make a clearance ahead of his own teammate’s well being. While going for the ball, Chiarini delivered an uppercut with his knee to defender Ramiro Funes Muri, putting Muri down for the count.

Brighton player refuses to let knee injury stop him from doing backflip celebration

We all have certain things that are important to us. Aspects of ourselves that we consider to be the unshakable foundation of who we are as individuals. For Brighton & Hove Albion’s Kazenga LuaLua, the backflip goal celebration is an expression of that. And he wasn’t about to let a knee injury that kept him out for two months scare him off doing it.

The 24-year-old winger scored for the first time since returning from the injury in Brighton’s 2-0 win against Derby on Tuesday and despite his coaches’ disapproval, he celebrated with his backflip.
