The key (and possibly made up) elements of the new MLS collective bargaining agreement
MLS and the MLS Players Union have settled on a new five-year collective bargaining agreement, narrowly avoiding a strike days before the 2015 season is scheduled to begin. Though the league did make concessions in several notable areas — namely the addition of a very limited form of free agency and a significant wage increase for the lowest paid players — it looks looks to be yet another victory for the league’s more short-sighted and shallow pocketed owners. So, he charged off his line fist first in the hopes of making contact with the ball before his opponent could. But it didn’t work out that way. Fabio Santos headed the ball a split second before Jamilton’s fist could connect. And since a fist must connect with something, Jamilton’s decided to smash itself into Fabio Santos’ face instead.

Aston Villa snapped their seven-match losing streak in dramatic fashion, beating West Brom 2-1 with a Christian Benteke penalty in the final seconds of the game. This also gave Tim Sherwood his first win as Villa manager and he celebrated as if he just won a trophy — even going so far as to make a show of checking his pulse to affirm that Villa are still alive as they now sit three points above those in the relegation zone (with 1-2 more games played).
